Diagnosing and Treating Neurological Conditions in Pets

Our veterinarians will perform a thorough evaluation using advanced diagnostic equipment. When we examine a pet with possible neurological problems, we attempt to determine the cause, localize the problem, estimate the extent of the problem, and estimate your pet’s prognosis with and without treatment.

Signs of possible neurological disease:

  • Seizures
  • Paralysis and limb weakness, collapsing
  • Balance disorders
  • Vision problem
  • Difficulty swallowing or chewing
  • Decreased facial movement
  • Hearing loss
  • Behavioral changes—pacing, wandering, confusion
  • Drop Jaw

If your pet shows any signs of a neurological condition, please call us as soon as possible.
